Core Labs X - Nitric Bomb in the test

Review: Core Labs X Nitric Bomb - What can the successor to Hyper Power do?

With its latest booster with the promising name "Nitric Bomb", Core Labs X is again delivering a product for real fans of hard stimulants. Core Labs X has already caused quite a sensation with the "Hyper Power" and the question arises for us whether this booster also knows how to convince.

In addition to the manufacturer Core Labs X, which stands for innovative and powerful products in the strength sports scene, a first look at the label also makes you want more or the next training session. In particular the combination of 350 mg Caffeine120 mg DMHA and 50 mg DMAA in connection with other (hard) stimulants, which are mainly aimed at fat burning, energy production, mood and focus, reads very promisingly.

The following ingredients are contained in the Core Labs X Nitric Bomb

In addition to 5 vitamins and minerals, there are a total of 19 other active ingredients in the Nitric Bomb. The serving size is 1 scoop or 10 grams and contains a total of 30 servings.

About the individual ingredients and their respective dosages:

Vitamin C: Helps you maintain your training performance. Here we have included 350 mg.

Vitamin D3: Ensures a healthy immune defense and supplies the bones and muscles with the necessary amount of potassium. It contains 10 mg.

Vitamin B3 (Niacin (BXNUMX)): Vitamin B3, often also as Niacin (BXNUMX) called, counteracts tiredness and muscle fatigue. People who are particularly sensitive to Niacin (BXNUMX) react, probably know the so-called "Niacin (BXNUMX)-Flush ". The widening of the blood vessels leads to reddening of the skin and a sensation of heat, but this is not dangerous. It contains 50 mg.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine): Vitamin B6 is involved in numerous metabolic processes in the body, especially in amino acid metabolism and thus indirectly in muscle building processes. It contains 5 mg.

Magnesium: Physically active people in particular have a higher need for magnesium, one of the most important minerals of all, because every single cell in the body is responsible for their energy metabolism Magnesium is instructed. It also works Magnesium Counteract muscle spasms. It contains 50 mg.

The vitamins and minerals it contains are a nice extra, but our readers are of course mainly interested in the following ingredients that make a workout booster:

Beta alanine: Beta alanine is a non-essential amino acid, which means that the body can produce it itself. Beta alanine delays the fatigue of the muscles and can thus intensify your training units. This must be done Beta alanine however, be supplied in the long term. Often accompanied by the ingestion of Beta-alanine is the typical "tingling sensation". Spoiler: We could not determine this here. The usual dose is 3000 mg.

L-citrulline: This is also a non-essential amino acid. L-citrulline is probably the most frequently used ingredient in training boosters and ensures increased nitrogen oxide production in the body, thus improving blood circulation and ultimately the popular pump. The 2000 mg contained here are a bit low dosed, double the amount would be appropriate in our opinion.

Creatine HCL: This is the form of creatine with the best solubility. This is achieved through the connection of the hydrochloride group (HCL). This results in a higher bioavailability and better absorption compared to Creatine-Monohydrate. With 1000 mg, the dosage is definitely sufficient, since the doses are significantly lower than with Creatine-Monohydrate are needed for the same effect.

N-acetyl tyrosine: The acetylated form of L-tyrosine ensures improved absorption and bioavailability. tyrosine is required to produce dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline, for example.

This results in an increase in focus and motivation as well as counteracting tiredness. It contains a good 500 mg.

Taurine: This is also a non-essential amino acid, which is mainly known from various energy drinks. Taurine acts in many ways and increases mental performance, boosts fat burning, acts as a stimulant and has an antioxidant effect. The usual intake recommendations are 1000-3000 mg. This contains 500 mg.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine: This is an ester of the amino acid L-carnitine. Used as a highly potent nootropic Acetyl-L-Carnitine, or ALCAR for short, often used in brain boosters. The dosage recommendations vary, but are often in a range between 1000 mg and 3000 mg, sometimes even higher (with a slow increase). Here are 350 mg.

(Anhydrous) Caffeine: Under anhydrous caffeine powder (caffeine anhydrous) becomes the purest form of Caffeine understood in pharmaceutical quality. The usual dose for (hardcore) boosters is 350 mg.

DMHA: As a successor to DMAA it shows structural similarities and is likely to have run into all hardcore boosters more than once. The ingredient provides an increase in energy and motivation as well as a razor-sharp focus. It also lowers pain tolerance and lets you train even harder. With 120 mg, the dosage is in the upper range.

DMAA: The mother of hardcore stimulants and comparable in effect to its successor substance DMHA, just harder. Therefore “only” 50 mg are included here, which is, however, for DMAA represents a good dosage.

Green tea 98%: Here, health-promoting aspects are in the foreground, such as anti-inflammatory and blood pressure-lowering effects. But green tea is also attributed a slightly increased fat burning. As a natural source of theanine it also counteracts the side effects of Caffeine opposite. The dosage recommendations are between 250 and 500 mg. It only contains 50 mg.

Synephrine HCL: Chemically, the alkaloid obtained from the bitter orange is closely related to ephedrine and therefore has a similar effect. Synephrine boosts fat burning and suppresses appetite. Synephrine also improves blood circulation and sharpens focus. With 50 mg, this is a very good dosage.

Hordes HCL: In addition to its use in fat burners Hordes also often used in brain boosters, as it has a stimulating effect on the central nervous system. So sharpens the intake of Hordes improves focus, improves concentration and increases general cognitive performance. The usual dose is 50 mg.

Grapefruit extract: Grape seed extract works primarily as an antioxidant. It contains 20 mg.

L-theanine: theanine has a nootropic effect and is therefore often used in brain boosters. It has a calming, stress-reducing effect and sharpens the focus. As already written above, occurs theanine also the side effects of Caffeine opposite. However, 20 mg is a very small dose.

Methyl Synephrine HCL: This is a substance similar to ephedrine, better known as oxilofrine. This is a drug from the sympathomimetic group that is used to treat low blood pressure. It contains 10 mg, which is far below what is prescribed for adult patients, but it must be said that in these cases a medication is present.

Black Pepper Extract: Black pepper extract increases the bioavailability of the other active ingredients. 10 mg is a very good dosage.

N-methyltyramine HCL: N-methyltyramine is a chemical compound from the group of phenylethylamines. The ingredient is thus somewhat similar Hordes or synephrine. However, it only contains 5 mg.

naringenin or naringin: naringin On the one hand it has an antioxidant effect, on the other hand it also acts as a perfect synergy substrate Caffeine and increases its bioavailability. It contains 5 mg, a very low dose.

Important: Anyone who takes medication regularly should naringin do not take it without consulting your doctor (and accordingly do not eat grapefruit). The ingredient ensures that the effects (and side effects) of some drugs are increased.

yohimbine HCL: Obtained from the bark of the African yohimbe tree, this ingredient is both a sexual enhancer and a highly effective fat burner. Here, too, the dose of 2,5 mg tends to be lower.

Conclusion ingredients:

Core Labs X has again packed a lot of ingredients into its booster and apparently did not save on the hardcore stimulants either. Even if there is an underdosage of some ingredients, we hope for the synergistic effect of the substances. You can expect a lot here, especially in terms of energy level and focus.

Our impression of the packaging design of the Core Labs X Nitric Bomb

The design is therefore relatively unspectacular. More attention is drawn to the warnings (High Stim Product, Advanced User Pre-Workout, Warning: Extremely Potent, Advanced Users Only) and the promises (Extreme Energy, Intense Focus, Rapid Power and Performance) on the can. Otherwise, the design is mainly black, the sketched lettering and the flavor are on the front, the individual ingredients, the consumption instructions, other warnings, the GMP seal (Good Manufacturing Practice) and the notice "Made in USA" are on the back ". All in English.

Taste and solubility of the Core Labs X Nitric Bomb

The booster is available in two flavors - "Fruit Punch" and "Strawberry Watermelon". We only tried “Fruit Punch”. A measuring spoon (1 scoop) should be dissolved in 8–10 oz of water (= 235–295 ml). First impression after shaking: The powder dissolves well and does not leave any residue on the bottom of the shaker. A lot of foam is created when you shake it, but it quickly collapses again. The taste is - well, acceptable. Since only 14,5 g of the portion amount (2 g) are made up of flavoring ingredients such as maltodextrin, citric acid, etc., you shouldn't expect a culinary experience. The predominant flavor is "bitter" due to the high citrulline content. The fruit punch aroma is only noticeable in the finish. The sweeteners are clearly not used enough, but that is not much better with other boosters either. Given the dosage ratios, the taste is okay.

How does the Core Labs X Nitric Bomb work?

First of all: No booster works the same for all consumers, so effect reports are always subjective experience reports. The Nitric Bomb has been tested several times by two team members; the sensations were similar in both. The test was carried out with a scoop.

🤓 alertness and energy (9/10)

Definitely one of the booster’s strengths. We can definitely underline the first promise “Extreme Energy” on the packaging. Around 15 minutes after ingestion, the increase in the energy level is already noticeable. For around 2 to 3 hours, the energy level remains at a top level, combined with an absolute "high", i.e. a mood-enhancing effect.

🤯 Focus and Drive (10/10)

This is where the booster shows its full strength. The second promise, “Intense Focus”, is also completely true. Our recommendation: put in headphones, start your training music and train. The focus on training is then immense.

💪 Pump and Vascularity (5/10)

Unfortunately, the booster disappoints on this point. However, a look at the label already gave an idea that a good pump is not to be expected here. Of course, the enormous energy level and the associated hard training will help you to build up a pump, but otherwise the booster does not provide much support here.

😈 Performance and exhaustion (9/10)

In terms of performance, the booster then makes up ground again and can convince again. Here, too, an above-average performance over the entire duration of the training. You can absolutely go to your maximum here and also a bit beyond that.

☠️ End of action and side effects (7/10)

The end of the effect does not come abruptly, but slowly announces itself. In view of the active ingredients, the side effects are limited. You will feel quite a strong feeling of thirst during the entire training and be quite exhausted after the training, due to the absolute high during the training. The suppression of the feeling of hunger was moderate, eating after training was quite possible.

Value for money: Core Labs X Nitric Bomb

At 44,95 euros for 30 servings, the booster is in the middle of the price range for hardcore boosters. This results in a price of around 1,50 euros per serving.

Over-all conclusion

With the Nitric Bomb, Core Labs X has launched a hardcore booster that has its strengths in the areas of energy, mood, performance and focus, the "classic" categories for hardcore boosters. However, you have to cut corners when it comes to pumps. Anyone who attaches importance to this has to "help out" a little and stack them up.
