Review: NP Nutrition The Future - Today it's all about one thing: pumps
At this point we are testing a pure pump booster without stimulants for you, namely the pump booster "The Future" from NP Nutrition. The booster is advertised as the ultimate in stimulant-free pre-workout supplements and we want to get to the bottom of this statement, full of anticipation for a hopefully "vein-flaunting training" 😉
What is included: Ingredients and dosages
|Amount per serving (1 scoop / 22g)|
|Arginine Nitrates||2000 mg|
|Beet Root Powder||1000 mg|
Ingredients: NP Nutrition The Future
Only 5 active ingredients are listed, but they have it all or their dosages have it all. The serving size is 1 scoop or a whopping 22 grams and contains a total of 22 servings.
L-citrulline: THE "classic" pump ingredient in almost every pump booster. By increasing the production of nitric oxide in the body, the blood circulation is promoted, which in turn results in the said pumps. With a strong 6000 mg, a potent dosage is included here, which also corresponds to the recommended dosage or can be found in many pump boosters.
Glycerol: This is a polyvalent alcohol that is able to store water in the muscle cells and thus ensures a "plump" look. With 5000 mg, there is again an impressive dosage.
Info: Due to its physical and chemical properties, clumping can easily occur. One reason for this is the low melting point of around 18 degrees Celsius. The Future also tends to form this strong clump.
AAKG or L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate: This is a highly bioavailable form of Arginine. It contains 4000 mg AAKG. The common dosage recommendations for AAKG are 3000 - 5000 mg per day, so this is also a very good dosage.
In particular the combination of Citrulline and Arginine is extremely advantageous because both work in the same way, but with a time lag. the end Arginine nitric oxide is formed immediately, Citrulline on the other hand represents the preliminary stage of Arginine and must first be transformed.
Arginine Nitrate: As the name suggests, combined Arginine Nitrate the two active ingredients Arginine and nitrate with each other. Both increase the body's production of nitric oxide through two different pathways. A good dosage is also included here at 2000 mg.
Beetroot extract: Since beetroot extract contains large amounts of nitrate, it stimulates the formation of nitric oxide. As already described above, this ensures that the blood vessels are widened. Beetroot extract also works as an antioxidant. 1000 mg correspond to the usual dosage of a pump booster.
No experiments - that's a good way to sum it up. NP Nutrition relies on well-known and effective pump ingredients, but in very high doses. Those in charge thought that it would be a little too much rather than too little 😉
A being from another world (or perhaps the future?) Looks at us with evil, sparkling yellow eyes. In front of the “alien face” there is “The Future” in large letters. On the back you can find the recommended intake, the ingredients per 100 grams and per 22 grams (i.e. per serving) and below that the following warning: “Warning! This pump booster is very potent! If the dosage is inadequate, blood pressure may drop. Please do not consume more than the recommended amount. ”Oha 😊 Of course there is also the list of ingredients, general information on food supplements, the words“ Made in Germany ”and the company address on the can. So here everything is exemplary on the part of the declaration.
Taste and Solubility of NP Nutrition The Future
The booster is available in two "flavors"
We also tested the orange variant. The recommended dose is 1 scoop (22 grams). The recommended amount of liquid is 300 ml.
After shaking, the powder dissolves almost completely without leaving any residue. The ready-mixed drink has a milky color and in the odor test you can clearly perceive the orange flavor. This then continues in the taste test, but the orange taste is accompanied by a very strong bitter note - really not a taste experience.
Effect: NP Nutrition The Future
First of all: no booster works the same for all consumers, so effect reports are always subjective experience reports. The booster has been tested several times by two team members; the sensations were similar in both. The test was carried out with a scoop.
💪 Pump and Vascularity (10/10)
The Future actually takes the pumps to a top level. The effect starts around 15 - 20 minutes after ingestion and the corresponding exercises in the gym. The arms appear plumper and thicker, the veins protrude well (tip: To achieve the full effect here, care should be taken to ensure that there is sufficient fluid intake Glycerol Water binds.). There is absolutely nothing to complain about here, on the contrary, what is promised is delivered. This then also comforts the taste of the booster 😉
😈 Performance and exhaustion (6/10)
The stronger blood flow to the muscles and the associated better supply of nutrients to the muscles make them more efficient and tire more slowly. Of course, this does not happen at the level of a booster with stimulants, which with its other ingredients has even more possibilities to increase performance. Nevertheless, you will also notice the difference in terms of performance and exhaustion with a pump booster - especially with such a potent booster like The Future.
☠️ End of action and side effects (8/10)
At 39,95 euros for 22 servings, The Future is in the upper price segment. In our opinion, the price is still justified, as the booster also delivers what it promises. Here you definitely get something in return for your money.
Price-performance ratio: midfield
At 39,95 euros for 22 servings, The Future is priced very high for a pure pump booster. In our opinion, the price is still justified, as the booster also delivers what it promises.
Pumps, pumps and again pumps. There is really nothing more to say here. The booster does exactly what it should: give us a brutal pump, no more, but also no less.
- Delivers a brute pump
- Quite high in price
- Tends to form lumps
